La Corte Costituzionale entro il 15 ottobre dovrà esprimersi sulla validità delle firme raccolte e poi darci i quesiti referendari, ed infine dovrà fissare la data del referendum dal 15 aprile al 15 giugno 2011.

E' un appuntamento fondamentale questo,per cui dobbiamo organizzarci così bene da portare almeno 25 milioni di italiani a votare (è il quorum necessario per la validità del referendum).

Mi appello a tutti perchè ogni cittadino italiano e ogni cristiano si impegni per salvare “sorella acqua”. In questo cammino referendario, abbiamo avuto l'impegno serio di tante associazioni cristiane, di parrocchie e anche di diocesi (la diocesi di Termoli per esempio), ma ci è mancata la voce dei Vescovi, sopratutto della CEI. Dopo le parole così chiare del Papa sull'acqua nella sua enciclica sociale, mi aspetto che i vescovi facciano altrettanto ,perchè questo è un problema etico, morale, vitale per il nostro paese e per l'umanità.Se perdiamo il referendum sull'acqua, abbiamo perso tutto.

Per questo chiediamo a tutti di impegnarsi a tutti i livelli.

A livello personale chiediamo uno sforzo per informarsi e informare sull'acqua tramite internet (www.acquabenecomune.org), tramite cd o dvd (come Per amore dell'acqua), libri, opuscoli per potere poi coscientizzare la gente con incontri pubblici, dibattiti, conferenze e serate sul tema. Solo così potremo portare 25 milioni di italiani a votare. La grande stampa e i media non ci aiuteranno!

A livello comunale, chiediamo a tutti di fare pressione sui propri consigli comunali perchè votino a maggioranza che l'acqua è un bene di non -rilevanza economica, modificando poi lo statuto comunale per inserirvi quella decisione.
